Rural Policing and Farms in St Albans |
||
Good morning Resident
I hope you are well! I'm writing to you as the Neighbourhood Police Officer for London Colney and Colney Heath to ask for your feedback on Rural Policing in St Albans South. My team and I cover the South and East of St Albans (St Stephens, Park Street, London Colney, Colney Heath, Ashley & Cunningham) and we want to hear from our rural communities for engagement opportunities across the District.
In St Albans, we have a dedicated Rural Police Officer who oversees rural and wildlife crime in the District. We also have a Rural Operational Support Team (ROST) who are a Hertfordshire specialist resource whose primary role is to engage with seldom-heard rural and farming communities, deal with Rural and Wildlife Crime across the County (such as hare coursing, large-scale fly tipping, livestock worrying, damage to crops and farmland, and theft of plant equipment). However, as the Neighbourhood Police Officer for a largely rural Ward, I would like to hear from members of the rural community to discuss how the local Police can support you and prevent crime.

Do you have any questions about Rural and Wildlife Policing in the St Albans District? Are there any specific concerns you would like to raise to me about the area you live, eg. Fly Tipping hotspots? A rise in ‘Dogs Dangerously Out of Control’ incidents? Please let me know your concerns by responding to this message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
Thank you. Best Wishes, Fiona. | ||
